Nice,
Glad to see you got it done and out there as a SupportPac. If I had an MQ license then I would download it and take a look
I might get the trial version and give it a shot! From the screenshots it looks good |

The description of this support pack is yummy. I will download and install before the week is out.
Eclipse remains a mystery to me. I will be a good test of whether the installatioin is idiot-proof. |

Just installed it in my regular Eclipse environment.
Works great, I love syntax highlighting. Coupled with cvs it will be most useful.
I haven't try all attributes but the following
dis ql(*) curdepth
Tells me that curdepth is not recognized. Other attributes I've tried are fine. |

My first bug.
You will still be able to run the file, you'll just have to tell it to ignore the error.
Please send me an email, so I can get a better record of this in the right places. Otherwise I'll forget. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It's a good extension. I like it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Oh.
Please be *very* careful about spelling my email address - particularly the last name. There's another person in IBM (imagine that, in a company of 300,000) that has a similar name, and he's not too happy to get my email.
Copy & paste from the user guide is probably best. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Question.... say I am connecting from an NT server to a Linux server and run the scripts, is this going to be run under my NT user ID? |

It's going to run as the user that MQExplorer used to connect to the qmgr.
If you're using a default configuration, with no MCAUSER on the channel used to connect to the qmgr, then this will be the ID that started MQExplorer.
But it really all depends on what you've done to connect to the queue manager from MQExplorer. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Nice. I just had a Windows MQ Admin complaining there wasn't a way to view Cluster Dynamic Channels via MQ Explorer. This is a good way to do that rather than from a command prompt via runmqsc.

Of course, you can see this if you select the qmgr under the Clusters folder, under the cluster. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I'll metion that to them.
I'm not a big user of MQ Explorer since I really only do z/OS MQ. I have a MQM on my desktop to IVP z/OS across platforms. That's about my extent of use for MQ Explorer - for now. Not all our z/OS MQMs have CAF. So for now, MQ Explorer is not much help in z/OS for us. |

Dear Santa (aka Jeff)
Can you develop a plug-in that displays the error logs in MQ Explorer. I'm tired of telling the MQ Admins on the non-z/OS platforms where to look for their AMQ* error messages.
I've been a good boy this year and have not swung my lunch box once. |
