Hi,
I'm facing an strange issue, i'm trying to connect to Queue manager running on Linux Machine from windows client
the name of the user id is administrator on windows machine, (it is part of the mqm group on both windows machine and linux machine)..while using amqsputc to put a message, i got a MQCONN ended with reason code 2035
for other user id's which is having less than 13 characters (say upto 12 characters) it's working fine.
is that no of character of the user id does matter?
can anyone put more light on this issue? _________________ Prasanna

It certainly used to back in the day, a 12 character limit rings a bell. I always used to administer MQ as mqm on Windows because "Administrator" didn't work properly.
Someone said it was fixed now, but I can't say I've tried it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
