Or read the file with a JCN maybe?
(Don't know if you can or not - some more competant Java person will comment shortly I imagine) _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

If you move to MB v6.1, then the FileInput node is built-into the product. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Websphere Message Broker File Extender Version 5 supports both Websphere Business Integration Message Broker Version 5.0 and Websphere Message Broker Version 6.0
You need to purchase Websphere Message Broker File Extender Version 5 seperately, install it, and then the File Input and File Output nodes will be available in either your WBIMB V5 or WMB V6 toolkit palette.
Now that Websphere Message Broker Version 6.1 has been announced then I expect that Websphere Message Broker File Extender Version 5 will be updated to support this as well.
Websphere Message Broker Version 6.1 has its own file processing capability so you would have to evaluate your specific file processing requirements against the native functionality that is provided through WMB V6.1 and that which is provided by MBFE. _________________ Regards, Ian |
