Now that should improve my availability!

Is anyone doing this (I found no hits on a search)? I think it's possible but would be grateful for any info. Not so easy to test here as there's no spare z images around at the moment.

What I would like to do is :

Step 1 - Single IMS region reading messages

Have a shared IMS Bridge IMS.QUEUE defined on QM1 (on sysa) and QM2 (on sysb). These would both be read by IMSA which resides on sysa. IMS.QUEUE would also be clustered so that I get workload distribution.

Step 2 - Two IMS regions reading messages

Same as above except both IMSA and IMSB would read messages. We will eventually merge the IMS regions I think.

Thanks,

Derek.
