If you are in the latest version of WBI MB v 6 (Latest Fix Pack) & you created a message flow that has more than one MQ Output Nodes

Issue 1:

WBI MB 6 lets you name mulitple MQOutput nodes the same name. This doesnt happen in V5.

Issue 2:

e.g

1st MQOutput is connected to the Catch
2nd MQOutput is connected to the Failure
3rd MQOutput is if the flow completes without any errors. e.g connected to the out of a compute node

Since all the MQOutput Nodes names are the same you have to actually guess where the actual message would go.

Yes. even if the message goes thru the successful route, it actually lands in the Failure MQOutput since that was the first MQOutput Node you created in the message flow.

One way to get around it is to go and alter the actual XML for the MSG Flow. i.e. Move the MQOutput node on the successful route as the first entry and then failure and then catch. The entry in which the MQOutput nodes are in the XML is directly related to how you created the message flow.

Everyone can recreate this scenario. Cant Believe IBM would be so stupid.
But then IBM might have another fix pack for this.

Easiest is to name all the MQOutput node names different.

Can you believe it ???

Pls. recreate this scenario and see for yourself

What version of *Toolkit* are you running?

There's never a good reason to hand-edit the .msgflow file. Please don't do that.

What iFix level?

There are some unusual issues in the Toolkit in iFixes before about 6.
