I have Java MQ Client and C++ Server application. Server deployed both on Linux and Windows. Now, I know that I have port for MQ on Linux - 1414. On Windows, I could open IBM Websphere MQ Explorer, see my QueueManager, Queue, my server-connection channel. How I check, is my port still 1414? or something else? |

The port for any given queue manager is the port the listener has been told to use. On the distributed platforms the listener will default to 1414 (and on z/OS IIRC but will take correction on that). If you've got 2 managers on the same box only one can use the default.
The easiest way to find out what port a given queue manager's listener is set to use is to ask it. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
