It's lies, lies, lies do you hear me? Lies! Foul lies spread by my friends to build a repuation and prevent me having to get a proper job! I've never been accused of such competence in my life!!
IIRC doesn't CVS use a system directory to hold member lock details? I'd theorise the user id you're using doesn't have rights (or enough rights) against the file system.
But it's only a theory. And as expert as you're going to get given I've never used CVS with WMBv5 (and whoever says otherwise is lying,do you hear me? Lying!)

Sounds like a CVS problem that the CVS administrator should address.
Or a permissions problem on your local file system.
More likely the first. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

This is a problem with CVS and not the WMBv5 toolkit. Do a search for the error on google and look at the suggested fixes.
What version of CVS are you using (CVSNT or "raw" CVS on Unix?) How are you accessing CVS (pserver, local or something else) _________________ Regards
