Hi,

Is there any way for V6 to deploy msg flow without adding it to BAR file?
Just wanted to know it because m working on testing box and its getting very difficult for me to make minute changes to code and add flow to bar file every time and deploy.

Hi,

WebSphere Message Broker deployment scripting using Ant

You need the bar file, but you could automate the process to some level...and since the toolkit is built over Eclipse, I guess it should definitely be possible to provide a plug-in for a right-click->Run Ant Generated Bar file kind of an option..

Regards.

Hi,

In V5 we can do it using rapid action deployment
Rapid action deployment creates dynamic BAR file
but for V 6 we r not able to find that option in toolkit gui....

Have you tried refreshing your current bar file and redeploying it?

Toolkit needs to be at latest version and ifix...

The Test Client in v6.1 allows you to test message flows without using a BAR.

But depending on the message formats and protocols you use (e.g. if you're using MQ), you can also do some of this in the v6.0.2 toolkit. See point (10) in http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0702_dunn/0702_dunn.html
