Does anyone know if there has been and end of life anouncement from IBM on WBI/MB 6.0 yet? I was planning on upgrading from 2.1 but not sure if I should go to 6.0 or 6.1 first. |

End of service has not been announced for v6.0.
Whether to go for v6.0 or v6.1 is going to be down to a number of factors including what 6.1 capability you need, when you're planning on migrating and the importance your business places on the relative stability of a product that's been out for two years. Without knowledge of your precise circumstances I can't recommend one version over the other.
However, I would recommend trying both versions when you can, and seeing which one satisfies your requirements more. |

Go read the Migration.pdf for V6.1 - in there you will find that you cannot migrate from 2.1 to 6.1. You have to go either V5 or V6 first.
The locations of the V6.1 pdfs as well as the Info center are posted in the Message Broker 6.1 Q&A on the 4th page. _________________ Bill Matthews |

Don't migrate.
Start re-analyzing your business requirements now, and redevelop. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
