Anyone know why sendemail plugin would hang when a wrong message is send to it? I unknowingly send a wrong message to it and it made send email hang forever. The EG had to be killed and brought back for it to work again. I connected the failure terminal of the node, catch and faiilure terminals of the input node to an MQOutput node which has a BO queue specified. Unfortunately, RAC is not enabled in the machine and I dont have any other machines to test out Send Email plugin. I dont have the luxury of setting up an SMTP server in my machine to do debugging in my machine as well
Appreciate any help.

You should be able to test the node locally, talking to an external SMTP server.

IA07 is a Cat 2 SupportPac which means you can contact the author for assistance...

Lots of people have had no problems with it at all. I've had issues with the sendmail version on AIX using the Line tag causing the EG to crash.

Could it be that the SMTP server is not responding in a timely fashion, and that the node is waiting for that? SMTP is a synchronous protocol...
