Hi all
Windows platform, MB V602 fixpack 3
Any advice on the above error?

I try to convert an XML message into a TDS message (~).

It shows that the "LocalOrOverseas" field is in error, here is the portion in the XSD declaration:
Code:
<xs:simpleType name="LocalOrOverseasSType">
      <xs:restriction base="xs:string">
         <xs:maxLength value="1"/>
      </xs:restriction>
   </xs:simpleType>


In the incoming XML message it look like this:
Code:
<LocalOrOverseas StmFieldNumber="130"
StmFileNumber="041"></LocalOrOverseas>

It only gives this error if the field is empty, but why is empty not a valid value?
I've got limited "XML" skill.

Please quote the full text of the error message, including the BIP number - it makes it much easier to diagnose.
