MQ Explorer is simultaneoulsy connected to every Queue Manager that it claims to be connected to. |
Then why is it not possible to create a queue filter over multiple qmgrs and display them and refresh them at once?
Ex queue 1 in qmgr 1, queue 3 in qmgr 2, queue 4 in qmgr 3 displayed and refreshed side by side?
Is it because it is intended to be used as an admin tool and NOT as a monitoring tool? |
I can only speculate on design decisions. But yes, that seems reasonable.
It is possible, however, to write an extension to the MQ Explorer that would do what you want. There's been a session or two at IMPACT/T&M/Etc. about writing MQ Explorer plugins. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I am able to connect two different QMGR in MQV6. Its is tested in AIX server with Java Env.
Above scenario tested in both Client mode and binding mode.
Thanks a lot. |

Simultaniously, on the same thread?
The question remains, why? What design constraint forces you to 2 simultanious connections to 2 different queue managers? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
