Hi !
On a windows box my Dataflowengine.exe has a lot of I/O.
If there is persistent messages in the flow.. will the I/O figure in Dataflowengine.exe prosecc or in a MQ process ?
Message persistence may be handled by MQ, but not necessarily by a separate process than the process making the MQ calls...
Yes, using persistent messages could cause an increase in IO activity by the Broker process.
Yes, using persistent messages is slower than using non-persistent messages, because of an increase in I/O activity.
