Hi,Can we install 2 MQ clients on same AIX box,(may be same or different versions).and in my application i need to connect to 30 different nodes.so how many no. of channels i can have on single mq client. Can i create 30 channels?

Except on zOS, you can only install a single version of the MQ codebase on a particular machine.

Hi
I dont know why you need two MQ clients on one servers, Unix it will install it on /usr directory location.
30 diff nodes means 30 diff servers right.
One MQ Client ---- > 30 MQ Servers. (One to Many)
AFAIK you required 30 Server./Client Channels

Hi, the bad news is, no you can't. The good news is, you don't need 2 installations of the client. Only 1 is necessary. |
