Hi,

I have MQ v 5.1 on HP-UX and I want to migrate to newer version (5.3). I've done:

1. ended all q. managers on target machine
2. uninstalled the old MQ product (I have not delete /var/mqm directory tree)
3. installed MQ v 5.3

Then I try to start q manager and:

$ strmqm QM_HPUX
Log not available

Can anybody tell me how to migrate from 5.1 to 5.3 - is it posible to recover/save qmanager's configuration and contents of queues???

I will be grateful for any help.
