Hey guys,

I need to set the auto-start of the Queue Manager through a mqsc script command rather than going through MQ Explorer --> right-click on queue manager --> properties ---> set Startup to Automatic instead of manual.

I can't seem to find how to do this?

Thanks,

Chris

So I guess that means you know the answer(maybe) but would rather have me spend an hour searching through google for the solution?

No, I think people would rather you spent 3 minutes looking in the product documentation.

I disagree. I think if someone needs help and you know the answer than give it to them and then maybe inform them to check the documentation next time. But your's is the attitude of most frequent posters on these forums.

Is it better to teach people the answer to one question? Or how to find the answers to lots of questions?

You have a good point. But I would suggest both [/quote]

If they get an answer to one question every time they post, will they take any time to read to the second admonition? Will they take time, BEFORE POSTING, the next time to try and answer the question themselves?

And, as always. If you feel strongly about it, go ahead and spend your time answering questions the way you want to.
