I have NQSeries 5.3 and DB2 7.2 installed and running on a Windows/NT PC. When I run the 'enable_MQFunctions' command it fails with:
mqver was not found
Please ensure MQ5.2 or later is installed
Please ensure the current user is privileged to run 'mqver'
I can run 'mqver' successfully from the same command line, under the same folder (c:\progra~1\sqllib\bin), and it confirms that it can tell that 'WebSphere MQ 530' is installed.
Has anyone tried this, come across the same problem, and solved it? AMI is installed and is accessible and all environment variables, paths etc seem OK.

Discovered the reason with some experimentation....'enable_MQFunctions' issues an 'mqver' to verify MQ installation. The output of this command has altered in 5.3 (extra line Name: WebSphere MQ) and this appears to have confused 'enable....'. Tried with a 5.2 'mqver' and worked OK. Have told IBM support and am waiting to find out whether there it is fixed in a Fixpack ( I was using the base DB2 7.2).
