Hi There,

I had one of the server/Queue Manager(Partial Repository) rebooted last night. I had suspended queue manager(partial qmgr) before I rebooted the server. Once rebooted, I have successfully resumed the qmgr and addedd all services. No issues.

This morning I noticed that SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE is piling messages on both FULL repository queue managers.
There are 998 messages in this queue right now.

I have checked both full repository cluster-sender and cluster-receiver channels. everythign looks fine.

Any hint or input would be highly appreciated!!!

Thank you.

There is nothing to worry about. You cannot infer anything by the depth of the S.C.R.Q. As the cluster lives and breathes those q depths go up and down as the internals of MQ do their thing.

You said it best:

IY86606 fixes a problem where subscriptions are incorrectly made for non-clustered queues.

Quote:
Cluster subscriptions are incorrectly made when MQOPEN is called
with a non-clustered ReplyToQ/ReplyToQMgr.
.
The error was introduced in IY78473 (Fixpack 11) for WebSphere
MQ 5.3 and in base WebSphere MQ 6.0 on distributed platforms.

IY86606 is fixed in CSD13 and 6.0.2.0

Also using a 64-bit queue manager will speed up the rate at which multiple MCAs can service that queue simultaneously.

hkhan12, did you refresh your view of that queue (eg. run DIS QLOCAL again) after a short while? How was the depth changing with time?
