First off, I posted this on IBM Developer Works but they do not get the amount of views that Mqseries.net gets, so I thought I'd try it here as well.

I'm trying to install Omegamon XE for Messaging 6.1 on a Solaris 10 Opteron box. I've already installed Tivoli Monitoring and MQ 6.0.2.2.
I get a message like the following:
The directory /tmp/istemp6063297124016 does not contain enough space to extract temporary files. Please specify a temporary directory using the -is:tempdir option. Use the -is:help option for more information.
I have plenty of space (12Gb) on /tmp.

I've tried ./setupSolaris.bin by itself, and with the -console and -goto Welcome options. I've also tried it pointing to another tempdir (-is:tempdir /apps) and the -is:nospacecheck option. With the -is:nospacecheck option, I get the following:

Tried both as root and non-root.

Thought I was current on versions, but I guess I missed the recent updates. I've installed the latest version of Omegamon and will install the latest version of Tivoli Monitoring shortly. |
