Well, I was trying out sample code to browse MQ queue and java compiler indicated that MQMessage.readString(int) has been deprecated. By looking up javadoc I was hoping to detemine what is it replaced with and which other methods have been deprecated.

Using Java manual at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/index.jsp does not provide such information.

Any other links where I can find what I'd expect in Javadoc ?

Thanks.

I am forced to disagree with you.

Granted, it's not a clear about "deprecated" as it could be. You want readStringOfCharLength, likely. Or perhaps readStringOfByteLength...
