Hello everyone....
here in italy where i work...we use Websphere MQ to communicate between sun solaris platform and z/os platform.
How , in your opinion ,could communicate the two platforms without MQ?
I mean, my collegs who work on SUN..."have no time " to work with MQ. So i would like to use only my MQ on Z/OS. It's possible connect sun solaris to my mq on z/os without mq on sun solaris?
I hope my english is not so bad....
have a nice day to all

You can have an MQ Client installed on the solaris machine.
If the mainframe accepts client connections. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

And you'll need the client attachment facility (CAF). You may already have this. |
