A java JMS application that has some threads that pick up messages from a queue and process them. The MQ administrators found many of these messages

CHANNEL(JAVA.CHANNEL) XMITQ()
CONNAME(10.128.8.43) CURRENT
CHLTYPE(SVRCONN) STATUS(RUNNING)

and they suspect this is making our MQManager crash because it crasshes once a week at least all of a sudden. I have debug the threads and I realized that even though I close a connection, the JAVA.CHANNEL running message still shows in the server, although sometimes it clears up right away , very strange I do not understand. Do any of you know why this is happening and why those messges show in the server. I am certain I am closing the connection.

Thanks for your insight
