Hi,

Well, I just tried again - no go. Although I can reply to your test message. I can't create a new posting.

You are moderator, I wonder if only moderators can make new postings in the new forum?

Regards,
Roger Lacroix

Didn't see anything specific that would allow me to unlock the forum itself...
If you want you can make a reply and I will split the topic...

Better would be to ask Mehrdad if he can do something about it...

nothing special about the User Exit forum, looked at it's settings seems the usual stuff. I will work with fjb and Roger to see why?. How about one more regular non-moderator user giving a try and report if they have the same issue as Roger's.

AkankshA: Re Tech Events and User Groups: It is locked on purpose. It's intended use is for Moderators to post there OR for User Groups and Tech Events folks to have a place to post their own News and to have ' their members only announcements' and conversations if they so wish. This is my work in progress to bring as many Event organizors and User Groups people to our site. We will see if I can make it work. If you or others have a posting for new events or user groups, send to me and I will have a look, then will discuss with you if it is appropriate to be posted there or somewhere else on the forums.

Regards;
Mehrdad

Hi,

I am still having the same problem.

I did a little testing and it appears to be the large code sample that I am trying to include (using the [code ] tags). The code is about 110 lines - not really that large. Even stranger, I have previously posted this code sample.

Are there new limits on the amount of code that can be included?

Regards,
Roger Lacroix
