Hi all,
I'm looking for a tool able to extract information from
- WebSphere MQ
- WAS SIB
and produce a single inventory with the discovered objects.
The use cases are:
- searching for a "queue" in MQ and/or SIB definitions
- navigating from object to object, possibly discovering MQLinks and crossing the MQ/SIB border
- helping the understanding of the global BUS.
Is there anyone out there with some experience?
Do you know some vendor/product that's addressing this market?
Thanks
Regards

I'd think that any vendor that had support for both MQ and SIBus would claim that they are in this space.
I don't know how many vendors have actual support for SIBus as opposed to WAS/WPS in general. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

With some time investment you could easily write a script to get all the SIB information, it won't be trivial but you will learn a lot of Jython on the way!

Have you looked at MQDocument is this a format that would do well for for SIB information?
If there is enough demand, I am always willing to look at it. _________________ Michael
