We has just setup a new server box and this error show up in service trace during deployment of message flows:

BIP4368S The method 'setAttribute' has thrown the following exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid string value for eorType 'CRLF'.

I've check IBM website and this should has been fix with

FileExtender fixpack 3 :IY81770 and IY81771

Current installation on this box are (according to the guy that set up the box):

WMB: 6.0.2.0
File Extender: 5.0.0.3 fixpack 3
Websphere MQ: 6.0.2.0 Build Type: IKAP (Production)
OS: Windows XP version 5.2 build 3790 sp1
DB2: 8.2

These installations are the same with all other server and no others have the same problem. Could anyone help me figure out why this is happening? Thx.

Since you are already creating a Service Trace then you have a lot of the details that IBM Need.

On a slightly related point
I have seen this type of thing (not exactly the same) when the /bar file I'm trying to deploy has got corrupted.
When I send an update to one customer I have to wrap the .bar files inside a .zip file and this inside another .zip file as sometimes their email scanner/exchange system seems to corrupt one bar file in the mail transfer.
When the .bar file is deployed an unexpected EOF is encountered and the deploy fails.
Doing it this way, seems to solve the problem.

We end up reinstall the broker from fresh, and the problem disappear. Still, I have no idea why it appear on the first place when all version are correct.
