We are having a problem in deploying data from the broker V5, CSD 7. The broker is running on the Solaris/Unix box. The Config Manager is on an XP box. All the channels between the q manager are up and running. When we deploy the deployment message just SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.QUEUE. We are getting appropriate responses from the Config Manager i.e. deployment accepted etc. Any ideas how we can figure out what is going on, where the problem lies? Has anyone had a similar problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. _________________ Thanks in advance |

Are there any messages in the broker log? Does it seem to be running normally? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I did not specify (my fault) but I meant both ways. This looks to me like the channels from the brokers' qmgrs to the config mgr might not be running.
If it worked before, what is the channel status and what is written in the logs...
If it did not, is there a default path from the brokers' qmgrs to the config qmgr? Maybe a qmgr alias needs to be defined... Are there any msgs on the brokers' dead letter queue?
This is assuming that the broker works correctly.
Check as well the ipprocs on the System.broker.* queues.
Are the deployment messages getting picked up within 30 to 60 seconds of arrival? If not you probably need to restart the broker....
