Did you run out of diskspace?
Do you have permissions to write to the workspace directory?
Did you realize that Win2000 is not a supported platform for the v6 Toolkit? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I don't know the solution to this problem.
I do know that Win2000 is not supported for WMBT v6. it *might* be the cause of the problem, which would mean you need to upgrade to Win XP Professional or Win2003 Server.
I do know that there are issues with creating objects in the Toolkit when the underlying file system is a) full or b) marked read-only or c) the user running the toolkit doesn't have write permission _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

yes jeoff till now I dont know that there are bugs while working on mb6.0 on windows2000 platform after you sending the reply, and from my seniors I came to know about this. From the three options that were given by you, two options might not be a cause but the option b) which is marked read only might be the problem because I am having enough disk space and even I am having right permissions because I am the only user running on my system. |

I had this problem with version 6.0.2 and tried a lot of different things including a new workspace. After working through the current version for a while I went out to the website and grabbed the latest fixpack 009. After installing that (it took quite a while to install) my problem was fixed and I was able to create Message Sets. I have RAD on this machine as well and I'm not sure if that is a complicating factor in this since the Toolkit shares the same installation of eclipse with RAD. Another person here doesn't have RAD and didn't have this problem.
Here is the link for that fixpack:
