I am writing a simple program to evaluate the performance of Websphere MEssage Broker with different number of messages passing through it. I am using a java program to pump in the messages.

I observed that once the queue depth reaches 5000, the rest of the messages are rejected. When i try to manually post a message using say Websphere MQ Explorer, i get the following

Queue full. The queue contains the maximum number of messages (AMQ4042)

My message size is 1k[in the form of an XML file]

Is there any place where the maximum queue depth can be configured?

Hi arvind24_s,

Right click the queue-->Properties, and look through the properties, you'll find it there...

This is very basic, plz read the docs.
