Hi ,
My Environment is Windows2003 EnterpriseEdition with Servicepack 2
MQ 6.0.2.2
DB2 9.1.300.257
MB Toolkit 6.0.2
Broker 6.0.0.3
When I am trying to crate the broker I am getting the following Error
Quote: |
BIP8081 An exception was caught while processing the response message for the command, 'Unable to format an ImbException message for output, ImbException message number is BIP2130'.
|
When I try to use any mqsicommands like mqsilist also getting the same error.
I have checked the groups mqm and mqbrks .The user was added in those groups.
Please show me the way.Its urgent
Thanks in advance,
Vijji. |

Did you follow the steps to configure the command environment? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Are you using the "Command Console"? Or just cmd? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

But after the installation i got the message "The installation is completed successfully".
When i run mqsiprofile it is showing mqsi 6.0.0.3
Is it broker installation problem or toolkit installation problem?
How you can say that it is the installation problem. |

Because it's not working properly?
You shouldn't get an internal error from an internal object under any circumstances. Even if there was a problem with security or configuration you should get a proper message explaining it.
I accept you got a message saying "completed successfully", but one of the reasons for having a default configuration is to enable you to verify it. Your installation has clearly failed verification. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi Vijji,
Did you run the mqsiprofile command first?
Are the Path variables updated for the Broker?
Is the user you are using to run the command same as the user you used to installl? If that be the case then you may have to recheck the acess.
I faced this problem in Solaris once and the problem was /var/mqsi was not given access.
I know you are using Windows but am saying this to mean that even if you are sure that the user has been added in the mqbrkrs group there could be some other access problem.
Let us know _________________ Thanks and Regards
