You need to change the transactional settings because if you put a REQUEST message in a TRANSACTION, then it DOES NOT EXIST or IS NOT AVAILABLE to anyone else UNTIL THE TRANSACTION IS COMMITTED.

If you therefore try and SEND A REQUEST and RECEIVE A RESPONSE inside the SAME transaction - a) you will never get a response, b) you will see exactly the behavior you are asking for help with.

Finally the problem was solved today.

First we added the JMS_IBM_Report_Pass_Correl_ID as setting for the message. This did't directly work.

Secondly: We found out that we could provide an empty string as message selector, so we recieved the one and only response.

We found out that te correlationId provided by us: 9999, was changed into 9F9F9F9F by our provider, so matching would never help...

It sounds like both you and your provider are incorrectly trying to treat the CorrelationID as a String.
