When I run the checker on the server, I get this error:
FMC34nnnE: Queue Manager FMCQM not found in mqs.ini

I don't have a QueueManager FMCQM, so why should it be in mqs.ini file? I don't have any problems as such. Can I safely ignore this error or is my configuration wrong.

Hi
Check u r connect name . It should be something like 'FMC.FMCGRP.FMCSYS,FMCQM'. If every thing is OK (like client can attach to the server etc) then this couldn't be problem . By the way which version of Workflow u r using.

My Connect Name in my fmcrc file says

ABC.ABCGRP.ABCSYS,ABCQM,FMC.FMCGRP.FMCSYS,FMCQM.

My configuration is ABC. The connect name should have been
ABC.ABCGRP.ABCSYS,ABCQM right. But I don't know from where the second one is appended to my connect name.

What are the implications if I edit the fmcrc file manually. Does it complain about the file being corrupted etc.

ABC is my default configuration.
Clients can connect to the server and everything is just fine.

Thanks Manoj.
Got rid of that error.

Someone added the client connect parameters through fmczutil. Using fmczutil again I have deleted the FMC, FMCSYS FMCGRP connect names.

I also figured we can change most of the profile variables using fmczchk.
The error doesn't show up when I run the checker now.

I guess u don't even 've a configuration "FMC" . If u r using windows u can remove this using the Config utility (GUI) . I am not sure about removing it manually from fmcrc. i could n't find an option in "fmczutil" command to delete a connect a name ( It only gives option to add /update).

Manoj
You have an option to remove the connect names using fmczutil.

But first you have to select it to remove it. I was wondering why there was no option to remove while there was an option to add. But when I went through the documentation, there were pointers to how we could do this.

After selecting the connect name, we can either modify or remove it.

Thank you

Venny
