Hi

I have one basic question regd MQ.
I have got multiple sending queues & recieving channels, which I hv defined on MQ Server. WHile going thr documentation, i also found that in distributed env, server connection channel is also necessary so i have defined that as well.
NOw my main question is to receiving data on receiving channel, what channel should I specify. If i specify recieving channel then i am getting error with 2009 reason code. If I specify server connection channel then i am not getting any error & recieving message. But not sure how it works with multiple receiving channels.
Can someone give me some good info or good pointers related to this ?

Check out the Intercommunication & Client manuals.

Sender/receiver channels are used to pass messages between queue managers. Server connection channels are used to establish a client connection between an application and a queue manager. Hence without a svrconn you can't connect to the queue manager & get a 2009.
