I just want to know what are the added features that are there in MQ6 which are not present in MQ 5.3 and how does MQ 6 support security more than MQ5.3?
Thanks!! |

The changes are laid out in some detail in the docs.
Aside from the usual performance, incremental advance & stability improvments there's new features in clustering & more objects have been brought under the control of the queue manager rather than running independantly (which also aids stability and performance). There's also new administration features like route tracing.
AFAIK there's no specific change to security but I'll stand correction on that. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Could you please notify me the link where I can get the full detailed description.
Thanks |

A bit pedantic, but this is an extra chargeable product not a new feature in base MQv6. But it does add to the security as the name suggests. IIRC there was something similar for v5.3 but I might be thinking of the ETC.
I secure MQ by terrorising the users instead of technology. Less effective but cheaper and far more fun...... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
