OS: AIX 4.3.3
Over the past several months, we seem to be finding more and more FDC files with the error codes shown in the Subject line of this post. They appear to happen sporadically.
"AMQ6162: An error has occurred reading an INI file."
Interestingly, when I look at the client error logs, they report one of the following messages at precisely the same time as the server-generated FDC files:
1. A communications error for TCP/IP occurred.
An unexpected error occurred in communications.
The return code from the TCP/IP (select) [TIMEOUT] call was 0 (X'0'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.
2. Connection to host 'myhost (x.x.x.x)' closed.
An error occurred receiving data from 'myhost (x.x.x.x)' over TCP/IP. The connection to the remote host has unexpectedly terminated.
Tell the systems administrator.
Should I chalk this up to network issues, or is there something about the INI file setup/permissions that I should be looking at? The MQS.INI file has read permissions for everyone.

Are you really running MQ v5.2? 
Also, it's likely that some kind of network swtich/router/etc is deciding that the connection has been running too long.
