Hi,

Want to send/receive msgs to/from the server...

Client Config:

Websphere MQ client 6.2.100.7085
WindowsXP (test purposes)/ Windows Server 2003(actual)
Using C++, MQ Automation Classes for ActiveX
setting environment variable "MQSERVER"

About the Server Configuration, dont know much....

so my question is what is the "required" configuration for to connect to the server...
1)OS on which server is running
2)Version of the Websphere MQ server.
3)Authorization of the User

which of these matter or otherwise might create incompatibility...
also is there is any special concern about using C++, like i read on one of the forum that for Java "automatic full access" is present...

Any supported platform (like Windows)

As required for the opperation of the application

The Clients manual has full configuration details.

The Using C++ & Using Java manuals detail the specific requirements of these 2 languages.
