Hi,
I am getting an error everytime I start Agent Controller.
It isn't starting at all in either modes ( manual / automatic).
When I installed it on my XP machine yesterday it worked fine and I could debug some flows.
After I restarted my machine I started seeing the problem.
The version is 6.0.1 and is correct.
I tried restarting the service a few times both manually and automatically but no use.
The error message says:
Could not start the Agent Cotroller service on Local Computer.
Error 1053. The service didn't respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.

Is the agent controller service running on your machine and is it set to start mode manual or automatic? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Well, I tried both automatic and manual modes for the service.
Not sure how it matters.
Can you please explain.
thank you.

Assuming the Agent Controller is loaded right.
Assuming you have set it to Automatic...
The Agent controller service should start -- as well every time you reboot.
If it is on manual-- does not restart at reboot, in order to debug you would have to stop the broker, start the agent controller, wait 30 seconds, start the broker...
Make sure as well you run the agent controller under the system account.
It needs some specific permissions for the pipe files(debugging sessions). So if you are not running as system account with system admin permissions you could end up not being able to use the Agent Controller. (in Unix it runs as root)
