I'm testing an upgrade on a client dev box that is running solaris 9, Message Broker 5 (No csd's at all) and MQ V6.0.2.0. I am attempting to patch the broker to fix pack 9 when I get the following error:

Errors occurred during the installation.
- Unresolved dependency: MQ Prerequisite has an unresolved dependency on
WebSphere MQ Version 5.3.
- Unresolved dependency: Java Messaging Prerequisite has an unresolved
dependency on WebSphere MQ Version 5.3 Java Messaging Component.

The system does have the java component installed. I checked the readme and dind't find a prereq fix pack that needed to be installed. Can someone help. The other weird thing is that this is a 5.3 version message. Again, I have V 6.0.2.0 installed.

Does the installation still work? Usually, you can just iust ignore this warning.

I'm trying to install WBIMB v5.0.1 on a solaris box using the -console option.
I get the same erorr about prerequisites but the install stops and there is no option to 'ignore' the message.

If I remember correctly, there is a way of telling the install to ignore the prerequisites before starting the install.

If I'm right, does anyone know how I can do this..
