Hi all,
What is the recommended use of the mq api in the client side?
We have a production server using MQ 5.3 CSD 11 and a client application using the mq jars of the CSD 13 ( we download them from the IBM site).
The question is if this is a correct practice or we must to use the jars of the server or doesn't matter. We encountered a bug using the CSD 13 jars that doesn't appear in the CSD 11 jars.
You shouldn't mix and match files from server and client installations.
You shouldn't mix and match files from different CSDs.
You shouldn't willy-nilly grab a bunch of jar files, and package them with your application.
You should be migrating to version 6 of MQ.
As for the rest of your questions... There at least twenty other threads here that talk about what should and should not be installed on the client side.
Happy Searching. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
