I wonder why is v6 of MQExplorer is sooooo slow. It takes upto 15 minutes to have a newly added qmgr to appear, and 5 minutes to create a simple alias queue. And even I disabled all auto-connect and auto-refresh, it seems to be still doing that all the time.
I have MQ 6.0.2.1 for windows.
HAve anyone experienced not so bad performance with this version of mQ explorer? _________________ pcelari

Nope, I use this version and all actions complete in a few seconds. WinXP, Dell laptop, standard install. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I have experienced slow performace, but I can not point the finger at MQ for the lack of speed in MQExplorer. I have found it to run slow when I am on boxes that are consderably old and are at or under the MQ minimums. Check your processor and memory and report back here......could be as simple as that. |

Java apps tend to use a lot of memory. If you can get more RAM if might help. |
