Does anybody know why am I getting this following error while creating queue manager with root user. root is allready in mqm group
id root
root user is in mqm group
aix 52-04, mq 5.3.10
/>crtmqm testqm
AMQ7077: You are not authorized to perform the requested operation.

I compared perms of /usr/mqm/bin dir with system running properly
Looks allright
what else could that be?
is there any way to refresh cache? |

I run trace and got this during crtmqm
does it make any sense?

If you have added a user to mqm, and you do not have a qmgr yet, you may need to restart the machine in order to get the OAM to refresh the security.
In other words, try the crtmqm as the mqm user instead of as root. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
