Is there anybody who is falimiar with mqsistopmsgflow?

What I'd like to know is how the message flow specified by the command line of mqsistopmsgflow behaves when it has a message in process.
For example, is it backed out or not?
What happens if multiple messages exist in the input queue of the message flow?

I checked around the documents of WMB but didn't find such detailed information.

Thanks in advance,

Thank you for your post, mrgate.

I'm using WMB v6.0.0.3 on AIX.

I assume that messages in the input queue would be on hold while the messages in process handled normally.

Thanks.

Yeah, I happen to know mqsistopmsgflows quite well

By default, the command will cause any work to be completed before the flow stops. However, there is a undocumented flag (-d) on the command, which will cause an immediate stop of the flow.

Thank you very much for useful info.

I wanted to controle the behavior of message flows when I archive application logs created by the flows.
The command seems to give me a way to do this safely.

Thank you again for your information.
