I guess you are asking about a software engineer job in IBM India. All the top layer companies in India have now started recruiting graduates (BSc, BCom etc) from both public and private colleges across the country. So I think degress like MCA, BTech, BE are not mandatory anymore to get into IT jobs.
Coming to your question, there is no guarantee that JUST a MCA degree will fetch a job in IBM (wondering why only in IBM???). Degrees like MCA, BTech will just qualify you to attend their tests for entry level positions but you need lot many skills to pass in those tests.
Bottom line - you will always have bright future, whether in IT or other field, if you have the required skills.
On the otherside, I hear a lot about oppurtunities in Bio Chemistry field.
Good luck! |

IBM india is recruiting in hordes ... although for freshers it is always a bit more difficult that lateral hires.
why just IBM ? there are companies who work in the biosolutions field where your biochemistry background can also be leveraged. |

His signature says "Arizona payroll processing". Why would someone in Arizona be interested to work in IBM India to be specific.
And is it so difficult to keep the word "INDIA" out of everything?
I am an Indian and i have worked abroad for several years. There is a fair mix of good and bad quality everywhere. Why separate out one world?
Or is it sheer Jealousy?

I don't see any jealousy or disrespect to India or any race in the postings!!!
Apart from India, where else can you find 'MCA', 'Get a rank in MCA' on this earth???
BTW, what made you feel that we are isolating India or disrespecting any race? |
