Hi,
I am using a java program to send messages and catch messages it connects to a qmgr with IP, port and SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN, it used to work but recently I have upgraded mq to mqv6. Now I am getting the folowing error.
07/27/07 23:26:22 - Process(19580.1 User(mqm) Program(amqrmppa)
AMQ9208: Error on receive from host 10 (10.100.31.59).
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from 10 (10.100.31.59) over TCP/IP. This may
be due to a communications failure.
ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP (read) call was 131 (X'83'). Record these
values and tell the systems administrator.
Please help me out.

If this is a client connection and V6 make sure you use the following form for the connect:
qcf.createQueueConnection(userid,passwd).
V6 does not like you to use qcf.createQueueConnection() when you are not in a J2EE environment that passes the JAAS user...

I am using client connection to connect qmgr V6, where do I need to change, in application or in MQ.
