Hi ,
Can somebody help me on this ?
When an application running on the source AIX was trying to send
a message to the Cluster queue on the destination OS/390 Queue manager,it failed with error code 2087.Also, we got MQRC 2041 as well. There were no FDCs generated on the source AIX or the OS/390 .The AMQ error logs did not contain any specific errors. We got these error codes during MQPUT operation.
I checked the OS/390 Mq/Channel initiator job logs and there were no issues. The MQ repositroy processs are running fine on both the servers. When tried to put a message using amsput also gave the same error .Both the source and destn QMs are part of the same cluster. I believe the AIX QM could not find the destination QM .
The issue got resolved once i refreshed the Cluster using refresh cluster command. Please advise what would have gone wrong in this case .
Details :
Source Server : AIX , MQ Version 6.0.2.0
Destination Server platform : OS/390 ,MQ version :5.3.1
Please advise. Many thanks in advance. _________________ Regards,

you should have done some display cluster commands (clusqmgr, clusq, ...) on both queuemanagers and check all the cluster channels before doing the refresh command. that maybe would have shown something.
how can one see whats wrong if it is fixed? _________________ Regards, Butcher |

RC 2041 is never good. It means that the object was changed. You need to disconnect from the object and connect again to it...
I have seen this happen if you change a queue with the force command while it is in use...
2087 is unknown remote qmgr...
Did the PR have connectivity to its full repository?
