Hi

I couldn't find any documentation on specific settings of env variables for the .profile file on Sun Solaris.

We just installed MQ v6 but we don't know if any changes are to be made to the .profile file of either mqm or root.

Please advise.

There are no required or recommended env variables or .profile settings for WMQ at v6, or indeed were there any at earlier releases.

But if you want root to be able to do WMQ things (runmqsc, etc), you will need to add root to the mqm group in /etc/group.
