I am looking for an MQ Series Application Architect to work for my client, one of the largest top tier investment banks, which will be based in the Netherlands, A fantastic opportunity for the ideal candidate to work for a leader within the investment banking sector. The ideal candidate must have WebSphere MQ, Mainframe and Midrange environment experience, with the ability to deal with incident solving, problem initiation, software customization & distribution and change process. You will also need the ability to work as a Guardian as you will be working within the usage of implemented MQ applications, a good working knowledge of z/OS ISPF environment or Rexx programming and Unix Scripting. A broad range of hardware products such as IBM z-Series, p-Series and HP. You will be responsible for the health of Q-Manager implementations, the team is responsible for technical issues as well as procedural issues like naming conventions, housekeeping/back-up processes, security implementation, performance, documentation and so on. It would be advantageous for you to have worked or have knowledge of consultancy, design, ITIL skills, mainly incident, change/problem mgmt and SMILE (Peregrine Service Center).
