Hi !
IF I specify
SET OutputRoot.MRM.LeveranceRettelsesDato = CURRENT_DATE;
I get different result on two different server.
Server1=2007-06-28 and Server2=28-06-2007
The languish on the two server is different.
Where do the CURRENT_DATE get the format from ? |

Does the DATE command use the same locale environment variables for control as the broker does? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It's based on the host machine locale. Described in the ESQL manual IIRC. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Documentation button at the top of this page will take you to the IBM web site library home page. This contains all the MQ & WMB documentation.
And IIRC is If I Remember Correctly - it may not be that manual but one of the others. Been I while since I looked! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I believe the date format comes from the time zone and date formatting of the broker's service user....
So if the broker's service user on one machine shows a European date format and on the other machine an American date format, this is what you get by default in the broker.
To check out more you can use mqsiservice with one of its flags and it should display you the date and time + timezone the broker believes it uses....
Enjoy  _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
