Hi, I am using MQSeries PubSub broker with jms and have the following problem. When I run my pub sub application on my machine with MQ + broker also running on my machine messages are published and received fine. My machine set up is as follows:
Windows 2000
Webspshere MQ 5.3
However, when I run the app on my machine connecting to an WMQ 5.3 machine running on a network server on NT4, messages ARE published and received but the I get the following error:
MQJMS5053: *** No broker response. Please ensure that the broker is running. ***
MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2046
where the second error is the linked exception. Now the reason 2046 is something to do with setting message options wrongly and given I am programming using JMS there is little opportunity to do that anyway. In any case the broker is definitely running. I think the error might possibly be something to do with the broker not being able to write messages to the control queue and therefore perhaps it is a security/authentication issue. Thats a complete guess mind. Can anyone help me out here?
Any help would be gratefully received.

In your append, you stated:

Does this mean that your application works for a while and then gets the 2046 error? When you move your application to another machine, I take this to mean that you are now using a client connection back to the qmgr. When you ran it on the same machine, did you client connect or use bindings? I wouldn't think that this is security related or you would have gotten a 2035 or a 2063. |
