I recently upgraded two websphere MQ servers from 5.3 to 6.0.2.1

Our web application connects to MQ using the Channel Tab file. When we fail MQSrvr1 and test a web application with a CHLTAB file refering first to MQSrvr1 and then to MQSrvr2, the system slows down so much that some of the application times out.

This did not occur with the 5.3 version and I cannot find any reason why the system show slow down so much as to timeout the application. It was a bit of a shock to find that WebsphereMQ version 6 sorted the CHLTAB file alphabetically as opposed to the order the client-connections were added to the MQ server and thus the CHLTAB file. Obviously part of this slow down is the web application trying to access MQSrvr1 first, then moving to MQSrvr2. Subsequently I wonder if there is a change, perhaps a timeout setting, that might have been extended and thus cause us the issue.

Any assistance would be useful.
