I have a msgflow that calls SP and constructs a return msg to an applicaiton in response to a request msg.

The SP returns result at virtually no time. But it takes 0.8 seconds to complete the request-response.

Checking the broker resource usage, even at massive load tests, with 9 additional instance enabled, it takes only at most 4%, most of the time 1% CPU usage and 8% memory.

I wonder where I should look for possibility to improve the performance.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Do you have any other I/O going on? We had a similar message flow with bottlenecks even while utilizing additional instances. I found later that the developer had left a few trace nodes in the message flow. Once they were removed things looked a lot better.

No, I don't have any trace node, it's a simple flow, one MQInput, one compute node, one MQOutput.

I have only one broker and configmgr on this zLinux server, with only this msgflow in one EG.

How can I check if I/O is the bottleneck?
